Serving Northern Virginia Cyclists for over 30 years!

The Whole Wheel Velo Club (WWVC) is a USA Cycling (USAC) Federation recognized club dedicated to the development of bicycle racers and racing in the Northern Virginia area. WWVC was established in the early 1970′s with the purpose of becoming Northern Virginia’s premier bicycle racing team.

Who are our members?

WWVC consists of approximately 40 members. Our professions include those in the IT industry, chemists, doctors, lawyers, government workers, students and urban planners to name a few. Our ranks include competitive road racers, weekend warriors trying to stay fit, centurians, multi-sport (e.g. triathletes, duathletes, etc.) athletes, and even a certified personal trainer/USAC coach. All ability levels are welcome!






Joining

Quite honestly, our only request is that you stay involved. Afterall, the strength of our club is our membership and its continued enthusiastic participation in team-sponsored activities. We recognize that everyone has their own schedule and a unique set of cycling goals. While our focus is on competitive cycling, we want to help you achieve any goals that you might have by keeping you informed, motivated and providing support. We maintain a friendly, no pressure culture (unless you ask for it).
